Spring Arbor University announced the launch of a new online Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership program, formally a Master of Arts in Communication program. The only program of its kind in the U.S., the program can be completed in 15 months, one online course at a time. Students are paired with mentors who are influencers in communication. Mentors share valuable insights, professional development tips and personalized support. Working with mentors, students learn skills most important to communication professionals. “An M.A. in Communication is valued in industry. Often the people who are chosen for leadership are those very people who have M.A. degrees. It shows you have the courage, you have the knowledge, and you have the expertise that other people don’t have,” said Quentin Schultze, director, Center for Servant Leadership Communication, and program mentor at Spring Arbor University. Throughout the online Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership program, students build a professional ePortfolio. This digital portfolio serves as a place to collect, reflect upon and collate creative assets based on learning experiences at Spring Arbor University. Upon graduation, the ePortfolio becomes a powerful and shareable resource for career advancement.
