In recognition of the impact ethical nursing practice has on patient outcomes and the quality of care, the American Nurses Association has designated 2015 as the “Year of Ethics.” This week, Spring Arbor University celebrates ethical practice and quality care by honoring our nursing students - and all nurses - who have a critical responsibility to uphold the highest level of quality and ethical standards in their practice to ensure superior health care for all patients. Nurses are consistently recognized by their communities for upholding high ethical standards and are highly trusted as a result. In fact, an annual Gallup survey shows that the public has ranked nursing as the top profession for honesty and ethical standards for 13 straight years. Spring Arbor University offers rich educational opportunities to nurses so they can advance their nursing careers with integrity, grace and personal growth. Nursing is a helping profession, and as a faith-based university, our programs better prepare nurses to meet the spiritual as well as physical needs of those for whom they care. All nurses – no matter their faith or belief – benefit from this recognition of the spiritual component to nursing. Learn more about our online nursing programs now.
