Bio
Dr. Tara McCoy is an assistant professor of education and lead instructional designer at Spring Arbor University. Some of her research interests related to teaching and learning are focused on Open Educational Practices, Open Pedagogy, and Universal Design for Learning. Dr. McCoy has worked in various industries from the public to the nonprofit sectors, consulting, and automotive since she started working professionally. She enjoys developing and teaching courses in various disciplines within academia.
In addition to teaching, Dr. McCoy works full-time as the Lead Instructional Designer at Spring Arbor University. Some of her past roles include Deputy Director for a Non-Profit Alternative Dispute Resolution Agency, Project Analyst/Implementer for a Business Process Consulting Firm, and Project Coordinator for a major municipality.
